Focus Academy Football Camp

Mission:
To expose young athletes, to positive role models from athletic, educational, science, business, medical, and other diverse backgrounds. This will be accomplished by providing an excellent environment for middle and high school athletes to improve their football skills and educational opportunities. The camp’s emphasis will be placed on the science disciplines increasing the players’ awareness of how nutrition, fitness and health, and physiology affect their roles as football players. This camp will stress discipline, teamwork, academic achievement, character building, and overcoming obstacles through hard work.
Goals:
- To educate the campers about nutrition, fitness and health while teaching football skills
- To provide an environment of positive thinking and attitudes
- To foster mentoring relationships between young athletes and successful professionals
- To attract student athletes
- To offer full and partial scholarships to deserving young athletes
- To teach young athletes to think beyond the end zone about education and careers
To establish competitive fees for campers who do not qualify for scholarships
